Dona Ana Beach

Praia Dona Ana is one of the most photographed beaches on the Algarve, ringed by cliffs and rock formations in golden and ochre tones that extend into the sea, forming natural pools and channels between the rocks. The landscape is the result of erosion of Miocene-era yellow sandstone.

The beach is medium-sized, expanded in 2014 by a coastal renourishment project. Access via the clifftop car park on the Lagos side and a renovated stairway. Beach support facility with restaurant. About 3 km south of Lagos's historic centre.
