Praia do Meco lies at the southwest tip of Sesimbra municipality, in the Aldeia do Meco area. The beach is characterised by wide sand, low dunes and a preserved natural setting, falling within the Arriba Fóssil da Costa de Caparica Protected Landscape area.
It's one of Portugal's most established beaches for naturism — there's no formal designation, but the practice is tolerated in the southern sections away from the conventional bathing areas to the north. Open Atlantic sea with consistent swell. Road access from Aldeia do Meco; parking in unpaved lots near the entrances. No direct train.
